Do you know who is guru? In eastern cultures guru is a person who has great knowledge, wisdom, and authority in a certain field, and uses it to teach others. The word comes from Sanskrit Gu – darkness, and Ru – light; in general guru is a  teacher who shows others knowledge (light) and destroys ignorance (darkness). So, in sort words guru is a person who knows a lot and shares his knowledge to ordinary people. Doesn’t such person seem to be very nice and kind? The notion of guru is mostly widespread in Eastern cultures and religions like Hinduism, Buddhism, and Sikhism.

According to different sources of information, there are several types of gurus like for example: spiritual advisor, enlighten master, avatar – guru that is considered as an incarnation of God etc. And every real guru has such sings:  Knowledge flourishes; Sorrow diminishes; Joy wells up without any reason; Abundance dawns. If guru corresponds to such requirements then he has the right to be called a guru. Today the notion of guru penetrated in to western culture. People call guru person who is great specialist in definite area. We have for example culinary guru, sports guru, spiritual guru, sex guru, philosophy guru etc. So, it means that there is a writing guru! It is quite possible, but it is necessary to make certain search in order to find such guru.

The news that there is writing guru should make a lot of student very happy, because they need writing guru most of all. In this case, the meaning of guru is very obvious and clear reflects its definition according to the definition. Writing guru should possess much knowledge about writing and share this knowledge to students who experience many difficulties because of various and numerous writing assignments.
